Loma Mar, CA (Elementary School) – 2026
The first night away from home for many of the girls

Went on safari in the Maasai Mara and saw incredible animals (including a one-month old elephant), received Maasai warrior training, and learned about natural medicine/remedies in local plants.
Relaxed and reflected on our journey in beautiful Diani, where we visited a local art gallery and learned to make Chapati

Met with Motoko Rich at the New York Times office in Tokyo, explored Tsukiji Fish Market, and passed through the bustling Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo
Visited Hakone, home of the Hakone Jinja shrine, and took a breathtaking boat ride to the base of Mount Fuj
Toured Osaka’s Ramen Noodle Museum and saw Osaka Castle
In Kyoto, engaged in insightful discussions with Dr. Fumiko Sakashita at Ritsumeikan University's Kinugasa Campus about the study of Blacks in Japan, and participated in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony
Washington, DC – 2023
Met with leaders including Senator Cory Booker, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, Congressman Eric Swallwell, justice advocate Christine Platt, and Dr. Fellicia Bell, Senior Advisor to the Director of the American History Museum
Toured the American History Museum, the newly renovated Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, and the renowned National Museum of African American History and Culture

Sydney, Cairnes, and the Great Barrier Reef

Visited important cultural and historical sites, including the Door of No Return
Attended a Senegalese High School Prom and Graduation and formed relationships with amazing high-performing Senegalese girls
Stayed in a beautiful boutique hotel, met with top Senegalese national ambassadors, dined at top-notch restaurants
