Nneka Samuel is an award-winning film and television writer who lives to tell untapped stories. Recently, her work has been recognized by Screenwriters Colony, WeForShe, The Bitch List, Austin Film Festival and Hollywood Black Film Festival. She wrote several episodes of the TVOne music docuseries Unsung, and has penned feature films for numerous production companies.

As a freelancer, Nneka's writing has been featured in print and online publications, including Madame Noire, Uptown and Heart & Soul. She is a proud graduate of both USC and UCLA film schools where she earned her BA and MFA, respectively.
