Growing up as a black American woman entertainer, Morgan saw economic disparity for funding and education in the music and arts industry. She was inspired to create a nonprofit of her own to provide others the opportunities that she had as a young child, and still drive her career choices today. She believes in the power of storytelling through songwriting. Her vision is to create a songwriting program for young at risk girls in Chicago. She hopes to inspire storytellers from this generation and to create long-lasting community change for years to come.

She has an MA in Music Industry Leadership from Northeastern University.

As the Outreach Coordinator for Cinnamongirl, she cultivates relationships with individuals and businesses within the community to help advance the mission of empowering young visionaries.
