An Oakland native, Executive Director Lena Jennings has always been driven to uplift and empower underrepresented youth, especially young women of color.

Previously, she was a Senior People Researcher at Google, using data-driven insights to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion for the tech giant's global workforce. Lena conducted extensive research spotlighting the workplace experiences of underrepresented groups to guide policy and culture shifts.

Lena has extensive experience developing leadership programs that nurture confidence, entrepreneurship mindsets, and vision in the next generation of female leaders. She believes providing access to experiences that stretch your expertise at a young age is key to combating declining self-esteem and opening horizons.  She is particularly focused on expanding access to educational opportunities, global experiences, and supportive networks that foster confidence and ambition.
