Dr. Evans is a life-long educator that has served the Bay Area community for over 3 decades. Dr. Evans was the superintendent of Berkeley and Hayward Unified School District. He also served as an administrator in Oakland and Compton. During his tenure in Berkeley, Dr. Evans was awarded Superintendent of the Year for the California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators.

Dr. Evans is a partner at Leadership Associates. He serves as a lecturer at California State University, East Bay. He is on the board of Urban League of San Francisco Bay Area.  

Dr. Evans received his BA from University of Delaware  and earned his Doctor of Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
