Brenda Love

Brenda Love is motivated, both professionally and personally, to create experiences which cultivate connection, growth and empowerment. Professionally, she has blended her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Loyola University of Chicago with her Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Southern California to deliver a portfolio of people strategies which foster exceptional employee experiences at Genentech, a California Bay Area biotech company.  Personally, she is an advocate and mentor who champions girls of color to be extraordinary leaders and compassionate citizens of society.

Brenda joined the Cinnamongirl, Inc. Board of Directors with a vision and goal to create a travel program for the organization.  She believes that there is much for a young girl to learn in a world outside of her own.  So she is dedicated to inspiring girls to explore other cultures, languages, arts, economies as well as raise their awareness to be of service in other communities. She is a travel enthusiast and has voyaged to nearly 20 countries in three continents.

In 2019, the Cinnamongirl travel cohort was launched and went abroad to Senegal, Africa!

“We have many more miles ahead of us to shape who we will become as individuals influenced by where we have been.” ~Brenda
